The technique is now quite commonplace and Dstl have formed Enigma Diagnostics whose instruments are commercially available and used in many areas including infectious disease testing, including veterinary pandemics – such as the detection of animal diseases such as avian influenza. <br />Now just ‘down the corridor’ we have another government department called Department for Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) who have a long term problem with bTB and in particular the surveillance testing.<br />From where I stand I find it very difficult to get my head around the fact that here we have the two Government Departments one with a problem and the other with the answer. I would be a trifle annoyed to find out that they have been ignoring each other for the past fifteen years.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
